AMASI CREAM CHEESE & SMOKED SALMON PATE
Ingredients
250 ml Amasi Cream Cheese
100 g smoked salmon or smoked salmon off-cuts
25ml creamed horseradish
30ml fresh dill
30 – 60ml cream or milk ( depending how think you like your pate)
Juice of a quarter lemon
Freshly ground back pepper
Seed Bread or vegetable sticks to serve
Method
Blend the AMASI cream cheese together with the smoked salmon, horseradish, cream/milk and dill in a food processor or with a blender stick until smooth.
NOTE: add the cream or milk slowly to get the consistency that you want.
Add lemon juice and pepper to taste.
Serve with vegetable sticks ( crudite) and/ or a lovely seed loaf
Note: You may substitute the salmon with any other fish such as tuna and pilchards or ham for a more affordable option.
