Who can resist a quick, easy and nutritious smoothie for breakfast or as an on the go snack??? This delicious smoothie just want you need! It is packed with plenty of nutrients and it only has 4 ingredients including the famous local ingrediant AMASI. Its used as a nutritious alternative to milk and yoghurt!
Serves: 2-3 as a drink and 1-2 and a breakfast bowl
Ingredients
250ml Amasi
250ml apple juice
1-2 banana’s
187.5 ml raw oats
62ml Blue berries ( or other)
Fruit and nuts to garnish
Method
In a blender or using a blender stick combine all of the ingredients and blitz together until a “smoothish” consistency is reached.
Should you wish for it to be a little thinner add more Amasi and apple juice
If you want it a little thicker add a few more oats
It is as simple as that!!
Decorate with fresh fruit and nuts
